It is clear we are facing an unprecedented period of uncertainly in light of the outbreak of COVID-19. It is therefore important to provide our customers with our position with respect to being able to continue to support you. We are keeping a close eye on the current COVID-19 pandemic and the government advice on containing its spread. We will be guided by the CDC and Ontario Health on how to keep our staff and customers safe, which is our first and utmost concern.
Rolling Thunder already has the capability for our staff to operate from home. All of our key operational, development and communication systems are cloud based and any local system resources are accessible remotely to our staff.
However, we are reviewing our plans to ensure that these are sufficient to support the worst-case scenario of a potential long-term full office closure.
We are aware that a number of businesses are already recommending a working at home policy and/or limiting visits by external persons. Rolling Thunder is well able to support this with remote assistance and call/video capabilities.
We are recommending to our staff to avoid public exposure if at all possible and replace physical meetings with call/video meetings.
